Weekend Fun and Local Deals in Central Michigan: December 26th - December 28th, 2025

In Central Michigan, there is always something fun to do! Whether you are just visiting or are a local to the area, here are a few fun and free (or nearly free) activities for you and your family to enjoy as well as a few freebies and discounts you don't want to miss.
Swing by Stonehouse Vineyards just outside of Evart and enjoy a dueling piano show between 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm.
Join others from the area who are looking to exchange items they no longer need with you. "Shopping" occurs between 10 am - 6 pm.
Stop by the Coleman Library and enjoy watching the movie Frozen. You'll get popcorn and a kit of fun activities to do throughout the movie experience. Show time is 5:30 pm
Whether you are an avid bird watcher, or just beginning, you can receive a complimentary bag of Midland Songbird Seed at Nature Niche between 10 am - 6 pm.
Gamer's Gambit in Lake City, MI is hosting their weekly Pokémon Play. Cost is $5 to join but free options for entry are also available. Ages 6 and up.
All weekend long: Enjoy sledding (if we still have snow!) with the family at a few of our favorite local spots, including: Deerfield Park and Mission Creek Park - both in Isabella County or go for a winter walk. Clare County has many wonderful trails to checkout.
