Looking for something fun (and budget-friendly) to do this weekend in Central Michigan? We’ve got you covered! From free dinners and family movie mornings to unique events like abandoned art bingo and a mountain bike race, there’s something happening for everyone. Whether you're hoping to support local businesses, spend time outdoors, or enjoy a night out with friends, this weekend’s lineup is full of great ways to make memories without breaking the bank.

Join For Arts Sake for a super fun take on bingo! For only $5 a card/round, you can have a whole lot of fun while also having the chance of winning unique, abandoned pieces of art (or art supplies!) Space is limited to 20 people. Event begins at 6 pm.
Enjoy a free meal with the Bad Boys Muffler & Repair Shop team in Houghton Lake every Friday all year long! Dinner available between 6 - 10 pm.
Come out and cheer on the racers participating in the Rust Shaker Mountain Bike Race taking place at Mid Michigan College's Harrison Campus. Race begins at 10:30 am. Interested in participating? There is a fee but its a great way to check out the trails throughout Mid's Clare County campus.
Looking to pick up a good read for a great price WHILE also supporting the Veterans Memorial Library and Zonta Club of Mt. Pleasant? This event kicks off at 9 am. Clothing, household items, books and more available at the sale!
Stop by and support 9 local businesses in downtown Alma and you could win a gift basket! Shopping event kicks off at 9 am. No purchase necessary (but we hope you'll consider making a purchase to support locally owned businesses in Mid Michigan)
If you love cars, you'll want to stop by the FREE ASMO Car Show taking place this weekend, Saturday, at 11 am. Enjoy cars, giveaways food and more!
Stop by the Tamarack District Library in Lakeview and enjoy meeting 15 Michigan authors! Each will take some time to read excerpts from their books. No cost to attend. Event takes place between 10 am and 2:30 pm.
Have you heard the saying 'health is wealth?' Taking care of yourself is so important and you can get a jump start on your health journey by attending the FREE Paula Pirnstill Health Fair in Farwell this weekend. he event takes place between 10 am - 2 pm at the Farwell High School.
Enjoy FREE admission and FREE concessions while watching the movie IF at the Ideal Theater in downtown Clare at 10 am.
Looking to enjoy a live show at an affordable price? Join the Coleman Junior/Senior High School's Drama Club for a great performance. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Show kicks off at 7 pm.
Enjoy a presentation of the Last Unicorn in downtown Mt. Pleasant at 2 pm for only $5/person.
